This Mystery Quilt was the one that I showed pieces from the other day and today I finished the top............I wish now I would have used some of the red from the border in the center of the top, but hindsight and all that---next time I will know what to use!!!! It was a fun pattern to do and many thnaks go to Valerie on the Quilting Bee Forum for doing this! She has done several Mystery Quilts for the Bee and they have all been fun to do!
Me, I wouldn't know how to begin to write a mystery quilt---where would you even start-0--guess it's not my thing to do, but I enjoy following the patterns of others. Now I'm working on a little wool applique pin cushion that I got from The Little Wool Shop. They have lots of neat things there. I decided I wanted to try something in wool again after I did the one before of the geraniums in the crock with a flag....but I wanted to do something little............so this is what I found!
Today is Sit and Sew day at Quilt Mercantile---I always look forward to that because it is such a good time to just relax and sew with friends. We talk about just about anything and everything and get to see what each other is working on-----I've seen some beautiful works of art there!!!!
Let quilting help you make someone smile!
