Project Linus Quilts

These quilts are for Project Linus.  The green one has a twin and  they both were panels.

This one has puppies on it and is quilted with paw prints.

Three for Project Linus

This one is called "Basic Math" and is from the Moda Bake Shop. There is a rhyme and reason to the layout, but it is very very hard to tell..  It was made from a layer cake called Mixology.  Still needs to be quilted.

This next one is a` pinwheel pattern and is fun to do.  It's a Fons  and Porter pattern. It's quilted and ready to go.

This one is a panel.  I think some little girl will like this one.  This one is also quilted and ready to go.

Redwork Sampler

Finished the redwork sampler with a piano key border.  I was over a year embroidering the blocks----I only worked on them during our Sit and Sew meetings on Tuesdays. Now I need to find something else to do for handwork!!!  The pattern is from Red Brolly, a New Zealand company.
This is one of the blocks.  There's also chickens and pigs and "Fresh Eggs."  Lots of fun!

Farm Girl Vintage

The top quilt is very pink, isn't it?  Just right for a little girl.  It is a Yellow Brick Road pattern.

The second quilt is Farm Girl Vintage from Lori Holt's book of the same name.  These were very fun to do and are quite small  6.5 inches with lots of little pieces for each block.

Courtyard Pattern

Another quilt from the Courtyard pattern from Cloud 9.  This one is minus the sashings. I like the way it turned out and I used more of my blue stash!

Two quilts for Project Linus

This pink quilt is one of two that are the same.  Fun and easy to do.
This is Bricks and Stepping Stones from Bonnie Hunter's website, Quiltville.  She has wonderful patterns and ideas on her website.  Both quilts will go to Project Linus.  This quilt uses up the last of 400    3.5" x 6.5" rectangles that were given to each of  the members of the DFW Gang to use in quilts.  I have 8 rectangles left over!

I Spy With My Little Eye..........

One I Spy layer cake plus "Double Slice Layer Cake" pattern from Missouri Star Quilt Company equals two I Spy small quilts for Project Linus.  Hope some kiddos have lots of fun with these.

They are both pretty much the same, so I am only showing one quilt.

two quilts and a block

This is the third block in the turning twenty block of the Month (really twice monthly)  They are all stars.
New look on Courtyard pattern.  Instead of using white or off-white for sashing, I used red.  Makes it very bright and gives a cheerful feel to it.
This little quilt is another Yellow Brick Road and will go to Project Linus.
