Magic 9-Patch

This pattern is called Magic 9-Patch.  You cut strips and make blocks and sew them together-----easy peasy!  This one was really fun to do.  The kit had wonderful colors of fabric.

This is the mitten row from the Sampler quilt that Debi and I are making together.
Had an awful time putting those mittens together----had to think mirror image----
had to think that through!

New Zealand fabrics

This is another quilt for Project Linus.  I used leftovers from a liberty quilt to make it.
This Disappearing Pinwheel patch was made from fabric that my daughter brought me from
New  Zealand last fall.   Thank you, Anne!  I added the turquoise color.  The pattern is from
a Missouri Quilt Company tutorial. Very neat how it works out when you cut the pinwheel!

Sampler Quilt Cocoa Cups and Leaves

These are the cocoa cups and leaves rows for the Sampler Quilt that Debi and I are each working on together.  It's been fun doing this quilt.  Hope the rest of the rows are as easy to do!!!

We have been getting snow down here in North Texas!  The roads have been slippery, so I have tried to stay in and only go out if I have too.  Hoping that winter  leaves soon!!!

Button, Button, Whos' Got the Button?

Working on a new pattern---Thanks Debi for giving me the pattern!!  It's called Button Up and is available through here.  Her pattern is actually for sale on Etsy and is available in PDF file for downloading or as a paper pattern.

Each Fat Quarter makes 5 buttons.  Here are my first five.  They are really fun to do and go quickly.

Happy Quilting to you!!!
