Flying Geese and Quilts

Here is a friendly gaggle of geese flying in a circle----does that mean they are getting ready to land?  Debi shared this pattern with me from Piece By Number----a free pattern on the web.  I was going to turn it into a pillow, but thinking further on it, I think I will make a small wall hanging instead.  I think I will quilt it like Debi did---inside the geese and on the inner star.
This pattern is called "Woven Ribbons" and is from Mi'Liss Hawley's book "Fat Quarter Quilts."  For some reason I had to do a lot of "unsewing" in this quilt, but I finally got it to turn out right!
I called this one "Follow the Yellow Brick Road" because it happens to have a lot of yellow in it and is the YBR pattern.  The YBR is a Terry Atkinson pattern.
This is another YBR, but I called it "To the Zoo, Blue, J and IJ" because it has blue in it and is still fabric from Jacque and IJ.
The last YBR is called "To the Zoo, Green, J and IJ," because of all the green.  I used up most the the fabric that Jacque and IJ gave me, but still have some little pieces left that I might do something with.  I surely do thank those ladies for the fabric.  I think I made 7 quilts with their gift .  I used a little from my stash and got some great quilts out of the cute fabrics they gave me.  I had a lot of fun with it.

Still so very hot here--------98 degrees today --- triple digits for the rest of the week and into next week---I am so thankful for the A/C.

Let quilting help you make someone smile.
