Little Red Barns Quilt Top Finished!

Little Red Barns top is finished and now I need to quilt it.  That is always a hard thing to figure out for me, is it for you?  The quilt kit picture shows it quilted with meandering, so that is probably what I will do.  I'm glad this one is finished, it was a lot of "fussing" and I'm glad that's all done with!!!!  I think the stars add a nice touch though and I really like the chickens---they add personality to the whole quilt!

We dodged a big terrible storm last night.  Quite a horrific storm was bearing down on us when all of sudden it changed direction and we were spared.  PTL!  But other people to the west of us had lots of damage from about 12 tornadoes.  The pictures on TV show much damage and devastation.   Thanks to friends and family who called to see if we were all right!  We'll pray for more peaceful weather days ahead.

Let quilting help you make someone smile!

That is such a gorgeous quilt, Jan! The tornado devastation is pretty bad where I am too...so very sad.

So glad the storms missed you. We had terrible tornadoes about a month ago and the devastation is just unbelievable. Luckily, my home too, was missed. This quilt is absolutely beautiful. I admire your talent and tenacity.

I am so glad you're safe!!! I have lots of family in the D/FW area and I was on facebook first thing, seeing if they were ok...yikes.

Your barn quilt just takes my breath away, Jan, I adore that pattern and I really love the colors you've chosen - gorgeous!!!!! Yes I have a hard time deciding on quilting....and usually change my mind halfway through, lol!
