Returned last night from a wonderful 4 day quilting retreat near Collinsville, Texas. We laughed, talked, sewed, ate great food, and laughed and sewed some more--what a good time we had! We all accomplished a lot! I have lots of pictures to post and wish I had taken more. All the pictures show some of what everyone got done The next to last picture shows my Mystery quilt ready to be sewn together---tiny pieces ( to me, any way) all got sewn together! I even had time to make 3.5 Yellow Brick Roads and embroider 3 baskets for the Aunt Bea's Parlor. You can get a lot accomplished with concentrated effort!!! The very last picture show the "I Miss You" little gifts that my Dear Husband had put in for me to unwrap everyday!! What a sweetie he is! Truly a keeper!!!!
Let quilting help you make someone smile!

Great pictures Jan..and yes Maynard is a keeper. How sweet of him to get you little giftys...he really missed you!
What a delightful time you had! I love the laughter :) And look at all those blocks :) And gifts! That Maynard...let's keep him around!
That mystery quilt looks very much my cup of tea - I'll be watching progress of this one closely. Your DH is sweet.
You did have a grand time at your retreat. So much fun - sharing, sewing, laughing, eating and more eating. How sweet of Maynard to put in little gifts. I have a 4-day retreat in July so I have to be patient.
How fun for you. Love the pictures.
Your retreat sounds grand, and I love your mystery quilt blocks. You tell Maynard, "Good job!" That was very sweet.
