New Project Linus Quilts

Here are pictures of some new Project Linus quilts that I finished this week! Starting a new pile to go to the drop off center!!

The first one is a mystery quilt that a very talented gal on the Quilting Bee forum did for us--I used a collection of charm squares when I would have been better off using just 2 colors--then my hourglass blocks and my stars would have shown up better!! But I hope some little girl will like the bright cheery colors anyway!!!

The second one I called Red, Hot and Blue and the third one is Metro Brown. They are both Yellow Brick Road pattern. The Metro Brown really is brown even thought the picture seems to show purple!

The last one, I made 2 identical quilts and called them Pink Parfait 1 and 2. They were from the book "Jelly Roll Quilts" by Pam and Nicky Lintott. The pattern was called "Sparkling Gemstones" and I used a jellyroll called Swanky by Chez Moi for Moda. The pattern was for a big quilt and I divided it in half and made 2 smaller ones (although they are pretty good sized) for PL.

Let quilting help you make someone smile!
