Courtyard quilt is a free pattern from Cloud 9 fabrics. I used up all my leftover Joel Dewberry fabrics from a couple of quilts I did this Spring. Felt good to empty out a box! Now on to the next project! My friend, Debi gave me a bag with 400+ 3.5" x 6.5" rectangles of fabric. I already used some in the skateboard quilt I made last week. think I will try Bonnie Hunter's pattern "Lozenges" and use some of them up!!!

Musical Notes Quiltets
Got this pattern and holder in Houston last fall. I like classical music and thought this was a good pattern to show that.
We are having rain and lots of it here in North Texas. Finally having sunshine the last 2 days. Many roads are still closed. I feel so sorry for the people who have flooding of their homes and businesses.

Skateboards
I finished the skateboard quilt. It is in the latest copy of BLOCK magazine. Thanks Debi for the fabric rectangles!! She gave away bags of over 400 pieces of fabric cut in to 3.5 x 6.5 inches. Since the rectangles were a different size than the ones in the pattern, I had to re-size the other pieces so everything fit together. Good challenge for my brain!!!! This one will go to

Quilt of Valor and Farm Girl Vintage both finished!
.
I made a Quilt of Valor for our friend, Steve, in appreciation of his service during the Vietnam War. The kit was from Fons and Porter
.This quilt is Farm Girl Vintage from Lori Holt's book by the same name. Lots of little squares, but fun to do. This one is now ready to be quilted.

Summer temps are back in North Texas, so glad for the A/C! But flowers are blooming and the roses are beautiful.
