The quilt is called "Written in Thread" and I have all the embroidery finished except for the border and I will do that after the center of the quilt is put together. It is rather like putting a puzzle together in a way because the directions for the whole quilt have not been that good and I have been "winging it" most of the way through! One of my friends (Debra) at Sit and Sew on Tuesdays is doing this quilt also and she has the same complaints-so we are working on it together and crying on each other's shoulder~! But it will be nice when it is finished. The picture shows a few of the finished blocks. Two of the sayings are "Handmade is Heartmade" and "Blankets of Love."
It's like a day in spring outside --temps in the 70's------- sure different from the cold spell we had a couple of weeks ago---I'll take this any day!
