First is a picture of 2 more barn blocks from a BOM on this website. You have to scroll almost to the bottom of the page to see them. I paper pieced the last 2 little quilt blocks and still had trouble with the first one! It was a "toughie!" It still is lacking finesse, but I'm not doing it a fourth time!!!!! Stomp foot!!!! LOL!!!The second picture is of a "Big and Bold" pattern of cars and flames, etc so I named it "Day of the Big Race." It's a very easy and fast pattern to do. I picked it up at the local quilt store, "Quilt Mercantile." It makes a bigger quilt---maybe for a teenager boy that likes cars.
I was the lucky winner at Myra's blog of a beautiful handmade tote made by my friend of years, Myra. We will be twins, because she made another just like it for herself! We go back lots of years on forums and now on the blogs. I feel glad to have something handmade by her, she does such beautiful work! Thanks Myra! I'll post another picture of it when it arrives.
