Awesome giveaway and question! I love fall because by the time September and October roll around, I am totally done with the heat of the summer and the dang bugs and I enjoy the cool nights with the windows open and cuddling up with the dogs and a nice quilt. I also like the smell of bonfires in the evenings and the leaves drying and rustling. Oh, it is just starting in this area and I am so happy!!!

Summer used to be my favorite season, however, now that I'm entering the "golden" years, I've come to like Fall better with cooler mornings snuggling up with my cat in the bed before I get up, watching squirrels cache away their food for winter, and sitting with some sort of stitchery in my comfy chair in the afternoon. My favourite season is late winter/early spring ( not quite a season I know) . It's the time the snowdrops and crocuses start to make themselves shown. I love seeing them in the garden at a time when all else is dormant. It remonds me that warmer weather is on it's way.

Fall is my favorite season because here in Michigan, the winter is too long and cold, the summer is too hot, and the spring is sort of non-existant - seems we go right from snow to hot!! Fall is beautiful with it's crisp air, riotous colors, and the hustle and bustle of getting ready for the holidays.

Right now I would have to say fall, but if it were spring . . . I might say spring! The temperatures have been lovely -- not too hot, not too chilly. And the colors are very nice this fall. And I can do more roasted-type dinners when the weather turns cooler. It always comes back to food!
I love all the seasons. I love the fact that I live in a place which has seasons. I love the Autumn for its blaze of colour and refreshing crisp air. I love Winter for Christmas, for cosy retreats, for short days and cold brilliant sunshine. I love the Spring for new life, for green fresh invigorating views, and for Easter. And I love the Summer for travel, for holidays, for seeing friends and family and for the freedom from the school routine.

I love all the seasons. There is something to do and love about each - fall is crisp and colorful, winter is quiet and white, spring is new and blooming, and summer is fun with the kids time. I lived for 7 years in a place with 335 days of sunshine and 30 days of June gloom to appreicate all the wonderful colors I had grown up with my whole life. I found that I needed the changing of the seasons as much as mother nature did.

My favorite season actually IS fall. I live in Florida and it's nice to have some relief from not only the heat but the humidity! There are even some fall days we can turn off the AC and throw open the windows!!!
I love fall with the cooler temps and the great food associated with fall.

Jan, my favorite season is summer!! I live in S.E. Wisconsin and after our long hard winters my only desire is to feel the sun on my skin and a warm breeze in my face. A close second is fall with its crisp air and the smell of burning leaves.

I love fall, the sounds, the colors, the smells, and the cool air (perfect for hand quilting a big quilt) though winter runs a close 2nd as I love the snow and the cold weather for lots of baking, cooking and quilting.
