After cold rain and snow yesterday and now sunshine today, I decided it was time to put up a harbinger of springtime on the seasonal wall and so got out the Lilac Bouquet that I made last summer. It certainly does cheer me up! It was in "The Quilter" magazine, July 2007 issue.
I was also able to do a little more sewing today and made a couple more blocks for my Mystery RRRR row and worked some on my embroidered purse block until my arm gave out, but some is better than none!!!!
Let quilting help you make someone smile!

I am ready for spring too Jan. I started working on a spring purse. (Like I need another project to work on!)
Oh, I love the smell of lilacs so much. Here in the city, I'm lucky to have a huge lilac bush right under my 3rd flr. kitchen window. For about a week, that scent wafts thru. Soon, right?
Good to see you so chipper and working again.
Lilacs are my FAVORITE!! HOW in the world did you make those little blooms?? Your wallhanging is gorgeous!
That's so pretty, Jan! I think I'll follow your lead and get out my spring wall hanging. Maybe if I hang the bunnies and tulips, we'll see the real thing soon.
I used to love the lilacs at home in Spring! Hopefully it will come for sure, soon...
Oh, the scent of lilacs.....this is such a pretty wall-hanging and a reminder that spring is on the way. Glad to see your arm is allowing you to sew more & more!
